One of the perks of staying at a five-star resort are the extensive facilities. Usually there's a beautiful pool, hot tubs, beach access, sunbeds, and my favorite... cocktails. Just talking about it makes me want to go on vacation. But the challenge about this is that along with these five-star facilities often comes a five-star price, if you know what I mean? Well, I have good news for you my friend, there is a new trend that gives travel pros the ability to enjoy these five-star resorts during the day as a guest.

One of the leading apps that makes this possible is Daycation, available for Apple devices. Here's how to get started... After you've downloaded and installed the app, when you open it, you can browse popular places along the top, including Florida, California, New York, Bahamas, Texas, Arizona, and Mexico. I mean, who wouldn't want to go there? If we select Florida for example, we can see there's 32 hotels available. We also see the minimum fee per guest.

If we click on the Kimpton Surf Comber Hotel as an example, we can see packages ranging from $40 up to $200, depending on what kind of a lavish mood you're in at the time. At the lower end, you can expect to get access to the pool or the beach with a comfortable chair or a lounger. And at the higher end amenities often include your own private cabana, access to the gym or the spa, and possibly even a bottle of champagne. For more information about the resort, scroll down further, and you can see the opening hours as well as the reviews. When you're ready to book, just click the book button at the bottom, and you'll be prompted to create an account. After that. You can choose the date and confirm the package along with the number of people in your party. Party being the operative word! Daycation is super easy to use, and it's also fast and efficient.
